Before joining a SafeTalk Telehealth session, it’s important to make sure your device, browser, and internet connection meet the recommended requirements.

Recommended Equipment
Before joining a telehealth session, make sure you have:

- Minimum 4GB RAM
- Built-in or external webcam
- Built-in or external microphone
- Headphones or earphones (recommended to reduce echo and feedback)
- Stable internet connection
- Updated web browser

Internet Requirements
A stable internet connection is important for a smooth telehealth experience.
We recommend:
- Minimum 15 Mbps internet speed
- Stable Wi-Fi or wired connection
- Avoid downloading large files or using heavy internet applications during sessions
For better stability:
- Use a wired connection if available.
- Stay close to your Wi-Fi router.
- Avoid using public or restricted networks where possible.
Camera & Microphone Permissions
Before joining your first SafeTalk Telehealth session, make sure your browser has permission to access:
- Camera
- Microphone
When prompted by your browser:
- Select Allow for camera access.
- Select Allow for microphone access.
- Confirm the correct camera and microphone are selected.

Before Every Session
We recommend checking the following before joining:
- Your browser is updated.
- Your internet connection is stable.
- Your webcam and microphone are connected.

Preparing Your Environment
For the best telehealth experience:
- Join from a quiet and private location.
- Ensure your face is well-lit.
- Use headphones to reduce echo.
- Close unnecessary applications and browser tabs.
- Position your camera at eye level.
Using VPNs & Network Restrictions
Some corporate, school, or restricted networks may block video and audio connections.
If you experience connection problems:
- Try switching to another network.
- Disable your VPN temporarily.
- Use a personal internet connection if possible.
