SafeTalk works best when your browser allows the web features required for the platform to function correctly.

If you are experiencing issues such as being unexpectedly logged out, pages not working correctly, or certain features not loading, checking your browser’s privacy and permission settings can help.

Enable First-Party Cookies

SafeTalk requires first-party cookies to be enabled.

First-party cookies are cookies set by the website you are currently using. SafeTalk uses them for essential functions such as maintaining your login session and allowing the application to work correctly.

You can keep third-party cookies blocked. SafeTalk does not require you to enable all third-party cookies.

Make sure cookies from SafeTalk itself are allowed.

Using Brave or Another Privacy-Focused Browser?

Browsers such as Brave and other privacy-focused browsers may use stricter settings that can block cookies or other browser functionality.

If you use one of these browsers, check your privacy or shield settings and make sure first-party cookies are allowed for SafeTalk.

You may continue to keep third-party cookies blocked.

Allow Camera and Microphone Access

If you use SafeTalk Telehealth, your browser needs permission to access your:

  • Camera
  • Microphone

When SafeTalk asks for permission, select Allow.

If you previously blocked access, you can change the permissions from your browser’s site settings.

Check Your Browser Permissions

If a SafeTalk feature is not working as expected, check the permissions and privacy settings for the SafeTalk website.

In particular, make sure:

  • First-party cookies are allowed.
  • Camera and microphone access is allowed when using Telehealth.

Still Having Problems?

If you have checked your browser settings and SafeTalk is still not working correctly, contact SafeTalk support.

When contacting support, include:

  • The browser you are using.
  • The SafeTalk feature you are having trouble with.
  • Any error message you see.
  • A screenshot of the issue, if possible.
