Troubleshooting Voucher Redemption Issues in SafeTalk
Sometimes a client may enter a voucher code but find that it cannot be applied during payment.
Most voucher issues are caused by service restrictions, expiry settings, or redemption limits. This guide explains the common reasons why a voucher may not work and what to check.
Check the Voucher Service Settings
Make sure the service selected during booking or payment matches the services assigned to the voucher.
For example:
If a voucher is created only for:
- Intake sessions
It will not work for:
- Regular therapy sessions
- Other services
The most common reason a voucher cannot be redeemed is that the selected service does not match the voucher settings.
Check Voucher Validity
Review the voucher settings and confirm:
Has the voucher expired?
Expired vouchers cannot be applied.
Has the redemption limit been reached?
If the voucher has a stock limit, clients will not be able to use it after all available redemptions have been used.
Has the client already used the voucher?
For one-time vouchers, each client account can only redeem the voucher once.
Review Voucher Settings
If the voucher is still not working:
- Confirm the voucher is active
- Check the voucher code
- Confirm the assigned services
- Review usage history
