This is particularly useful when you need to move a client from one therapist to another within your team.<br><br>In SafeTalk one <strong>Client<\/strong> can be assigned to &amp; managed by multiple <strong>Therapists<\/strong> at the same time. This is particularly helpful when:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Clients require specialized care from different therapists with varying expertise.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Clients benefit from a multi-disciplinary approach, accessing a range of therapeutic techniques and perspectives.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Clients have flexibility in scheduling appointments with different therapists based on availability and preferences.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>So&#8230; let&#8217;s dive in!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"what-is-engagement\">First. &#8220;Engagements&#8221;, what are they?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image rounded-2xl-custom\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"615\" src=\"https:\/\/safetalk.space\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/Process-2-1024x615.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-568\" style=\"aspect-ratio:1.665040650406504;object-fit:cover\" srcset=\"https:\/\/safetalk.space\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/Process-2-1024x615.png 1024w, https:\/\/safetalk.space\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/Process-2-300x180.png 300w, https:\/\/safetalk.space\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/Process-2-768x461.png 768w, https:\/\/safetalk.space\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/Process-2-1536x922.png 1536w, https:\/\/safetalk.space\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/Process-2-2048x1229.png 2048w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Engagement&#8221; is a virtual connection between a <strong>Therapist <\/strong>&amp; a <strong>Client<\/strong> account, think of it something like a <em>digital client file <\/em>that contains all the information(sessions, case notes, files, etc) related to that particular engagement between the therapist &amp; the client. When a Client is assigned to a Therapist, a brand new <strong>&#8220;Engagement&#8221;<\/strong> between the two parties is created. <br><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><strong>Important to know<\/strong><\/span>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>All of the <strong>Client Data<\/strong> (<em>Sessions History, Payments History, Case Notes, Purchased Services, Files and Tasks, Journals, Email History<\/em> <em>&amp; Chat Messages<\/em>) belong to an <em>engagement<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>One client can have multiple <em>Engagements<\/em>(with different <em>therapists<\/em>), each with its own set of data<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"reassigning-clients\">Reassigning Clients<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>For a Client to be engaged with multiple <em>Therapist<\/em>s at once, the account must be reassigned to a different Therapist first. To reassign, simply click on the ellipsis button(the three dots button on top right) of the <strong>Client<\/strong> card. A brand new <em><strong>&#8220;Engagement&#8221;<\/strong><\/em> will be created between the <em>New Therapist<\/em> &amp; <em>the Client<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Note: the archived Engagement can be found under My Clients -&gt; Archived list of the&nbsp;original Therapist<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video\"><video autoplay loop muted src=\"https:\/\/safetalk.space\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/reassign-without-data.mp4\" playsinline><\/video><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"assign-as-secondary-therapist\">Option 2: Assign as a Secondary Therapist<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>If you select &#8220;<em>Assign as a Secondary Therapist<\/em>&#8221; option, the original Engagement with all its data(<em>Sessions History, Payments History, Case Notes, Purchased Services, Files and Tasks, Journals, Email History &amp; Chat Messages<\/em>) under the <strong>original Therapist<\/strong> stay unchanged. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A new <strong><em>Engagement <\/em><\/strong>between the <em><strong>Secondary Therapist <\/strong><\/em>&amp; The <em><strong>Client<\/strong> <\/em>is created. The Secondary Therapist will not see any of the Primary Therapist&#8217;s Engagement data(<em>Sessions History, Payments History, Case Notes, Purchased Services, Files and Tasks, Journals, Email History &amp; Chat Messages<\/em>) if you simply assign a <em>Secondary Therapist<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video rounded-2xl-custom\"><video autoplay loop muted src=\"https:\/\/safetalk.space\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/Reassign-with-Data-copy.mp4\" playsinline><\/video><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"select-data-transfer\">(Optional) Select data the newly assigned Therapist should have access to&#8230;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>When you reassign the client from <em>Therapist #1 <\/em>to <em>Therapist #2<\/em>, you can allow the newly assigned therapist(<em>Therapist #2<\/em>) to have access to any of the previous data. Example: you want the newly assigned Therapist #2 to view the <strong>&#8220;Sessions&#8221;<\/strong> of the previous Therapist #1, you have the option to do so.<br><br>To share the access: in the reassign popup, simply select the items(<em>Sessions, Payments, Case Notes, Services, Files and Tasks, Journals, Email<\/em>) you want to give the new Therapist access to. Leave the dropdown empty, without selecting any items, if you choose not share any of the previous data<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video rounded-2xl-custom\"><video autoplay loop muted src=\"https:\/\/safetalk.space\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/data-access.mp4\" playsinline><\/video><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Any shared data(<em>Sessions History, Payments History, Case Notes, Purchased Services, Files and Tasks, Journals, Email History<\/em>) will appear directly under the respective tab in the <strong><em>Client History Page<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>When giving access, you can select <em>none<\/em>, <em>one<\/em> or <em>multiple <\/em>items(<em>Sessions History, Payments History, Case Notes, Purchased Services, Files and Tasks, Journals, Email History<\/em>)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The data sharing is a one-way access, meaning if Therapist #1 gives access to Therapist #2 to view their <strong>&#8220;sessions&#8221;<\/strong>, the reverse will not apply(Therapist #1 will not see the sessions for the Therapist #2)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You <strong>can&#8217;t<\/strong> give access to previous <strong><em>Chats or Chat Messages<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><em><strong>IMPORTANT: <\/strong><\/em>If you choose not to give access to any of the previous data to the newly assigned Therapist, simply <span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><em>do not select<\/em><\/span><em> <\/em>any items from the <em><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">dropdown list<\/span><\/em> and leave it empty<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"view-all\">View all &#8220;Engagements&#8221;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>You can go to &#8220;Client History&#8221; page &amp; under the Account tab, you will now see all the different &#8220;<strong>Engagements<\/strong>&#8221; the client account has. This account that will be the parent account that will absorb the data of the secondary account.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On the right side, you can select a <strong>&#8220;Secondary Account&#8221;<\/strong>: A secondary account is an account that all the data under(<em>Sessions History, Payments History, Case Notes, Purchased Services, Files and Tasks, Journals, Email History<\/em>) will be absorbed into the primary account and this secondary account\/engagement will be deleted afterwards. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>IMPORTANT:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Chat messages from the Secondary Account\/Engagement will be deleted &amp; <span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><em>Not be Merged<\/em><\/span> into the primary account.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Previous Sessions, Payments &amp; Invoices, Files &amp; Tasks will attain the old Therapist&#8217;s name under the Session, Payments, Files &amp; Tasks details even after the merge<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Best practices to manage clients within an organization.
