Doxy is a HIPAA compliant perfect solution for therapists to provide virtual therapy. Let\u2019s look at how we can set up a virtual therapy rooms using Doxy in SafeTalk for online sessions:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"create-doxy-account\"><strong>Create a Doxy account<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Create a FREE <a href=\"https:\/\/doxy.me\/sign-up?accountType=free\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Doxy account<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Copy your Doxy room link (under Welcome, Dr Weeks!), that looks like <strong><em>https:\/\/doxy.me\/yournamehere<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image rounded-2xl-custom\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1280\" height=\"720\" src=\"https:\/\/safetalk.space\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/image.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1521\" title=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/safetalk.space\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/image.png 1280w, https:\/\/safetalk.space\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/image-300x169.png 300w, https:\/\/safetalk.space\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/image-1024x576.png 1024w, https:\/\/safetalk.space\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/image-768x432.png 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1280px) 100vw, 1280px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"create-room-in-safetalk\">Create a Virtual Room in SafeTalk<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Login to your&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/app.safetalk.space\/login\">SafeTalk account<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>From the sidebar go to&nbsp;<strong>Management<\/strong>&nbsp;&amp; select the&nbsp;<strong>Rooms<\/strong>&nbsp;tab from the top navigation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Click on the&nbsp;<strong>\u201cAdd New Room\u201d<\/strong>&nbsp;button &amp; select&nbsp;<strong>\u201cCustom Online Room\u201d<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>(<strong>Optionally<\/strong>) You can also edit an existing room if you already have one<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Past your&nbsp;<em>meeting link<\/em>&nbsp;in the Room Link input &amp; fill up the additional information such as Room Name &amp; Notes<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Scroll all the way to bottom of the page &amp;&nbsp;<strong>Save<\/strong>&nbsp;the room &amp; you are done.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Assigning the Room<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote no-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>This option is only available if you are managing an&nbsp;<strong>organization<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>You will see a switch that allows you to manage therapist assignment for the room. By default, the room is assigned to&nbsp;<strong>all therapists<\/strong>&nbsp;in your organization.<br>If you disable the switch, you can deselect specific therapists by clicking the small&nbsp;<strong>\u201cX\u201d<\/strong>&nbsp;next to their name. This lets you control exactly which therapist(s) the room should&nbsp;<strong>not<\/strong>&nbsp;be assigned to.<br>See the video below, which shows the full process from start to finish.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video rounded-2xl-custom\"><video height=\"1080\" style=\"aspect-ratio: 1920 \/ 1080;\" width=\"1920\" autoplay controls loop muted src=\"https:\/\/safetalk.space\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/custom-online-room-doxy.mp4\" playsinline><\/video><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2026and your&nbsp;<em>virtual room is ready for use<\/em>. You can add this room to you schedule or you can assign this room to your sessions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Next, when booking a session with your clients, you will see the room listed under&nbsp;<strong>Location<\/strong>. Simply select the appropriate room, and your client will instantly receive details on where the session will take place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"important\"><strong>Important<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>To ensure clients can book appointments seamlessly, make sure to&nbsp;<strong>update your Booking Schedule and assign your rooms<\/strong>.
