Let&#8217;s look at how we can set up a virtual therapy rooms using Google Meet in SafeTalk for online sessions:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"create-google-meet--link\">Create a Google Meet Room<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Make sure you are logged in to your preferred <strong>Google Account<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Generate a one time Google Meet Link<\/strong>: \n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Go to <a href=\"https:\/\/meet.google.com\/landing\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/meet.google.com\/landing\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Google Meet Page<\/a>, click on &#8220;New Meeting&#8221; and create a new instant meeting<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image rounded-2xl-custom\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1920\" height=\"1080\" src=\"https:\/\/safetalk.space\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/google-meet-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3306\" srcset=\"https:\/\/safetalk.space\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/google-meet-2.jpg 1920w, https:\/\/safetalk.space\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/google-meet-2-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/safetalk.space\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/google-meet-2-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/safetalk.space\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/google-meet-2-768x432.jpg 768w, https:\/\/safetalk.space\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/google-meet-2-1536x864.jpg 1536w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1920px) 100vw, 1920px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Copy the meeting link (<em>that looks something like <strong>https:\/\/meet.google.com\/aaa-bbbb-ccc<\/strong><\/em>)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"create-virtual-room-in-safetalk\">Create a Virtual Room in SafeTalk<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Login to your SafeTalk account<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>From the sidebar go to <strong>Management<\/strong> &amp; select the <strong>Rooms<\/strong> tab from the top navigation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Click on the <strong>\u201cAdd New Room\u201d<\/strong> button &amp; select <strong>&#8220;Custom Online Room&#8221;<\/strong> <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>(<strong>Optionally<\/strong>) You can also edit an existing room if you already have one<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fill up the necessary room details, such as name, notes&#8230;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Past your <span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><em>google meet link<\/em><\/span>(generated above) in the <strong><em>Room Link Input<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Scroll all the way to bottom of the page &amp; <strong>Save<\/strong> the room &amp; you are done.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Assigning the Room<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote no-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>This option is only available if you are managing an <strong>organization<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>You will see a switch that allows you to manage therapist assignment for the room. By default, the room is assigned to <strong>all therapists<\/strong> in your organization.<br>If you disable the switch, you can deselect specific therapists by clicking the small <strong>\u201cX\u201d<\/strong> next to their name. This lets you control exactly which therapist(s) the room should <strong>not<\/strong> be assigned to.<br>See the video below, which shows the full process from start to finish.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video rounded-2xl-custom\"><video height=\"1080\" style=\"aspect-ratio: 1920 \/ 1080;\" width=\"1920\" autoplay controls loop muted src=\"https:\/\/safetalk.space\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/custom-online-room-gmeet.mp4\" playsinline><\/video><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8230;and your <em>virtual room is ready for use<\/em>. You can add this room to you schedule or you can assign this room to your sessions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Next, when booking a session with your clients, you will see the room listed under <strong>Location<\/strong>. Simply select the appropriate room, and your client will instantly receive details on where the session will take place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"important\"><strong>Important<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>To ensure clients can book appointments seamlessly, make sure to <strong>update your Booking Schedule and assign your rooms<\/strong>.
