SafeTalk now lets you require clients to enter their contact number when booking a session.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This setting is optional and off by default &#8211; so you can enable it only if it fits the way you work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"why-require-contact-no\">Why a Contact Number Makes a Difference<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Having a client\u2019s phone number can make your practice run more smoothly. If you have a <strong>Professional subscription<\/strong>, you\u2019ll be able to send WhatsApp or SMS reminders directly &#8211; making it easier for clients to stay on track with their sessions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It\u2019s also helpful if your clients don\u2019t use <strong>SafeTalk chat<\/strong> often. With a phone number on hand, you can reach them faster and more reliably whenever something important comes up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"how-to-enable\">How to Enable the Contact Number Requirement<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"organization-booking\">Enable for Organization Booking<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This applies to bookings made through your organization\u2019s public booking page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Go to <strong>Organization<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Open <strong>Settings<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Find <strong>Require Contact Number on Booking Page<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click the switch to enable it<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Once enabled, all bookings made via the organization booking page will require a contact number.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video rounded-2xl-custom\"><video height=\"1080\" style=\"aspect-ratio: 1902 \/ 1080;\" width=\"1902\" autoplay controls loop muted src=\"https:\/\/safetalk.space\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/organization-contact-no-required.mp4\" playsinline><\/video><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"therapist-booking\">Enable for a Therapist\u2019s Booking Page<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Go to <strong>My Practice &gt; Settings<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Scroll down to <strong>Tools &amp; Features<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Find <strong>Require Contact Number<\/strong> and click on <strong>Configure Requirement<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In the popup Toggle it <strong>ON<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click <strong>Save Changes<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Once enabled, every new booking will require clients to enter a phone number before confirming their session.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote no-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"no-quote wp-block-paragraph\">Note: If you are an organization admin, this settings has to be enabled separately for each therapist.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video\"><video height=\"1074\" style=\"aspect-ratio: 1920 \/ 1074;\" width=\"1920\" autoplay controls loop muted src=\"https:\/\/safetalk.space\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/require-contact-no.mp4\" playsinline><\/video><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"what-clients-will-see\">What Clients Will See<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When this setting is turned on, the booking page will include a <strong>Contact Number<\/strong> field marked as required.
